broad bean flowers

why are my broad bean flowers going black. I live in the south west and planted the seeds in November, they were ok until this week. It has been cold but since the weather has turned nice they have gone bad. Please help.

Flowers turn dark when they finish and die, so could be that your flowers have finished and you hopefully have little broad beans starting to grow through the dead flowers.

Otherwise if the whole plant was going black it would be a disease, pull them up.
