Growing ridge gourds
by: ~ Megan

Ravindra, you put ring guard in your question, but I presume you mean ridge gourd which is a species of okra I think.

These plants need lots of nutrition and water when growing, especially if confined in a container, otherwise they won't be able to produce the abundant fruit they are known for.

I can't grow okra where I live in NZ because the climate isn't hot enough, but my Indian friend, Prachi, tells me that okra is very popular in India.

Maybe other readers have experience growing these plants, if so it would be good to hear from them. ~ Megan

ridge gourd gardening
by: Tim Shelton

Ridge gourds are the well-known vegetable species and mostly found in Asian countries; but to grow ridge gourd we need proper instructions; such as we need nutritious soil, sufficient watering, fertilizer and suitable climate. Otherwise we are suffering damage issues; to grow ridge gourd we need a big space with proper sunlight; ridge gourd vegetables are not for growing in pots.
