cooking and eating asparagus

Some tips about asparagus:

Firstly, they are best eaten as soon as picked, or at least in a few days. They seem to loose some sweetness and the tips start to go soft and prone to breaking off if kept in fridge for longer.

Next, I don't break off the hard ends except for the very last bit on big spears, I just peel away the tough skin and the insides are tender, so more asparasgus to eat!

As well as stir frying sauteing them, I like to steam asparagus and have them cold in salads and sandwiches. Delicious and so good for you.
