Broccoli seedlings falling over

by Nickie
(Phila., PA)

I started seeds and they grew quickly in the starter tray. They made two leaves and shot up to about 5 inches long and they can't stand up they are all laying down. Please anyone what do I do?
Thanks, Nickie

Seedlings need light! NEW
by: Andrea

Too late, they must have not gotten enough light. Once seedlings emerge, they need the same light as plants outdoors, otherwise they grow spindly and weak. You can try and put them under decent indoor lights or get them used to outside, but do it in the morning and away from midday sun for the first few days at least.
