Ive planted 4 pea plants in a container, 1 has wiltered and looks like its dying.

I'd say it's probably rot. Peas often keel over if they have too wet feet. Make sure there is good drainage, and cut back on any watering.

Or it could be a slug or snail got in and had a meal at ground level. Go out with torch at night, especially during damp or wet weather.

Either way, pull up the dead/dying plant and I bet you'll find it come straight away from the ground without any roots.
